This facility is the first of its kind in Canada. The Customer Support Center is a communications hub where the hospital department managers and support staff are gathered within a team environment to coordinate the Hospital's various support services. In effect, this facility provides the framework for a teamwork effort where managers and clerical staff are encouraged to communicate with one another, sharing sophisticated communications resources such as computers, printers, modems, phone lines, faxes and copy machines to achieve an efficient and seamless network of services.

Key materials used include satin-finished stained maple, glass block, sandblasted tempered glass, stainless steel, and high efficiency color corrected lighting.
