This proposal was part of a competition to renovate and partially demolish and rebuild an industrial building on the north side of Overlea Boulevard. As noted in the title, this building is to serve as the Greek Community's new cultural center.

The program called for administration offices, a social hall, a theater/lecture hall, a health and fitness center, a library, a hobby center, and a commons area.

Pictured to the top right is the south facade facing Overlea Boulevard. The design theme was to create an image which expresses the fusion of the community's classical Greek heritage with the current setting of place and time.

The ancient and the modern coexist, reinforcing one another.
