The corporate headquarters building for Mercy Healthcare System is a two- story structure encompassing a gross square footage of 150,000 s.f. It will be located near highway M5 off of Twelve Mile Road. The primary materials used are precast concret panels with a surface expression of brick and simulated limestone, lightly tinted green glass, and prefinished aluminum framing. The front entrance will incorporate a pitched roof displaying the same color (Hemlock Green) as the several ambulatory care facilities about to go up. The image to the right is an early design concept which has been further refined and developed. The site model above more accurately depicts the form at the front entrance. |
