Saint John's Hospital in Macomb wished to renovate the south end of the main floor to accommodate a new cancer center. The hospital requested the architect to design and render a new south entrance for the proposed facility in order to raise funds for the project.

The fundraising was a success and the architect was commissioned to complete the project.
